After graduating from George Brown College in Toronto, in Instrumentation Engineering Technology, Bruce worked for several years in his chosen field then decided that he wanted to be his own boss. After taking the required investment certification courses, he made a career change and became a Financial Advisor with one of the largest financial planning firms in Canada. Mr.Ramsey has completed the Canadian Mutual Funds Course, the Canadian Securities Course and the Canadian Insurance Course as well as numerous other financial courses.

While working as an advisor, he discovered that there were very few software programs available for doing full financial plans for clients. He therefore wrote a software program called "Wealth Creator" and commercialized it by starting a company called RAM Technologies Inc. Bruce went on to create seven software programs ranging from mutual fund research, portfolio management, stock screening and financial planning. Clients at that time consisted of most of the discount brokerages in Canada and included TD Waterhouse Canada, TD Waterhouse Hong Kong, HSBC Canada, Schwab Canada, CIBC Investors Edge, E-Trade Canada and Globe Investor. In addition, over 2,000 financial advisors from the major financial planning and investment firms used the software programs he created.

A born optimist who believes that everything is possible, this entrepreneur has gone on to start eight companies focused on the financial services industry. In addition, Bruce was the founding Director of Halton Peel Enterprise Development Center in Oakville. The Enterprise Centre successfully assisted over 775 new and existing businesses. It is composed of a team of professionals that understand how to develop high performance teams and businesses. The Centre achieved a 70% success rate over a 10-year period, where 70% of the graduates were still in business 10 years following the completion of the very successful new business program.

Mr.Ramsey's most recent business endeavour is Blue Chip Mutual Funds based in Nassau Bahamas. The Blue Chip group comprises of six mutual funds. In particular the Value Averaging Fund, which is the first fund of it's kind in the world to use the value averaging investment strategy to make it's buy and sell decisions into an underlying portfolio of exchange traded funds.

Mr.Ramsey is married with two children, and loves reading and playing golf.
