Mr. R.Kong
received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto in 1976.
He began his career in the financial industry in the same year as an Operations Officer at
the Bank of Nova Scotia.
His next tenure was as a Financial Analyst in the automotive industry. Mr.Kong has extensive business and money management experience. For six years, he was the Investment Manager of the in-house managed pension fund for Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting, a TSE listed company, and he was also responsible for corporate treasury and cash management. The Balanced Pension Fund consistently performed in the top first quartile return of 22%. From 1988 to 1996 Mr.Kong was President of a private company that operated a Canadian restaurant chain. Mr.Kong was a licensed securities, options and insurance consultant, having worked with RBC Dominion Securities and Merrill Lynch. Mr.Kong is currently President of Blue Chip Fund Management and Blue Chip Group of Funds. |
